At Baskin-Robbins, the health and safety of guests and store crew will always be a top priority. As we continue to navigate the evolving landscape of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and recognize that states across the country are reopening in different ways, we are making changes to in-store standards and requiring enhanced health and safety measures at all Baskin-Robbins locations nationwide. In accordance with the expert guidance of public health officials, we have updated our temporary brand standards to help protect you, franchisees and their employees to ensure you’re able to enjoy the Baskin-Robbins you know and love.
Outlined below are procedures being implemented at every Baskin-Robbins location nationwide:
Face Masks & Gloves — All store employees are required to wear non-medical face masks and single-use plastic gloves for the entirety of their shift, regardless of the task. Store employees will change their gloves and wash their hands as required.
Plexiglass Guards — All locations are required to install plexiglass as a physical barrier between restaurant employees and guests at the cash register.
Social Distancing Markers — Throughout the store, markings are placed on the floors, spaced six feet apart (or greater if required by specific state, county or city order), for guests to maintain social distancing while standing in line and waiting for their order.
In-Store Postings — Stores are required to display all of these temporary standards for easy access and as top-of-mind reminders for all.
Brand standards that have always been in place include no bare hand contact, temperature checks for freezers, date coding for all ice cream tubs, cones and toppings, frequent hand washing and the requirement for all store employees to complete ServSafe® certification.
