This Friday is National Waffle Day, and we are celebrating by giving our fans a behind the scenes look at how our waffle cones are made!
We met with the culinary team in the Baskin-Robbins test kitchen, and they showed us step-by-step how they make the delicious cones that compliment all of our 31 delicious ice cream flavors. Topped with chocolate, sprinkles and nuts, the Baskin-Robbins waffle cone is something that takes love and care! Keep reading for the inside scoop:
Step 1: Combine batter and water, mixing in bowl until smooth consistency:
Step 2: Put one ladle of batter onto iron
Step 3: Remove from iron and roll!
Step 4: Dip cone into melted chocolate
Step 5: While chocolate is still warm, top with sprinkles or nuts
Step 6: Add your favorite scoop of Baskin-Robbins ice cream and enjoy!
