This Lineup of Baskin-Robbins Pickle Sundaes Are Kind of a Big Dill

Pickle ice cream at Baskin-Robbins?  While that was just a rumor, we’re always up for a challenge! Our flavor experts decided to create a lineup of pickle sundaes you can create at home with Baskin-Robbins flavors.  Each recipe combines our ice cream with tangy pickles to create a unique and dill-icious (sorry, we had to) sweet & savory combination that will make your taste buds sing.

Pickle Dill-ight Sundae

FINAL Pickle Dillight Sundae

 

Combining Baskin-Robbins Vanilla ice cream, pickle juice caramel and whipped cream. 

Ingredients (makes one sundae):

  • 1 prepacked quart of Baskin-Robbins Vanilla ice cream
  • Pickle juice caramel sauce*
  • Whipped cream
  • Dill (for garnish)
  • Dill pickle chip (for garnish)

*For pickle juice caramel sauce, combine 1/3 cup of caramel syrup with 1 tablespoon of dill pickle juice; stir until combined.

Instructions:

  • Scoop one large scoop of Baskin-Robbins Vanilla Ice Cream into a bowl.
  • Drizzle 2-3 tablespoons of Pickle Juice Caramel over the top of the scoop.
  • Garnish with whipped cream, a sprinkle of dill and a dill pickle chip. Enjoy!

 

Peanut Butter Pickle Time Sundae

This sundae is jam-packed full of salty-sweet goodness, combining our classic Baskin-Robbins Peanut Butter ‘n Chocolate ice cream with dill-tossed bacon bits and whipped cream. 

Ingredients (makes one sundae):

  • 1 prepacked quart of Baskin-Robbins Peanut Butter ‘n Chocolate Ice Cream
  • 2tbsp chopped bacon
  • ½tsp dill pickle juice
  • Dill seasoning*
  • Whipped cream (for garnish)
  • Dill (for garnish)
  • Dill pickle chip (for garnish)

*Don’t have dill seasoning? Substitute a mix of 1 teaspoon of dill weed and ½ teaspoon fine salt. Also try using the dill flavored seasoning for popcorn for a more tart experience!

Instructions:

  • Scoop one large scoop of Baskin-Robbins Peanut Butter ‘n Chocolate Ice Cream into a bowl.
  • Add a small splash (less than ½ tsp) of dill pickle juice to your chopped bacon and season with dill seasoning, shaking to ensure your chopped bacon is coated evenly. Add to your scoop of ice cream.
  • Garnish with whipped cream, a sprinkle of dill and a dill pickle chip. Enjoy!

 

Kickin’ Honey Pickle Sundae

Baskin-Robbins Gold Medal Ribbon ice cream is combined with spicy honey and chopped pickles, whipped cream and cinnamon.

Ingredients (makes one sundae):

  • 1 prepacked quart of Baskin-Robbins Gold Medal Ribbon Ice Cream
  • 1 tbsp Hot (spicy) honey
  • 1 tbsp Kosher Dill Pickles, small diced/brunoise
  • Whipped cream (for garnish)
  • Cinnamon (for garnish)
  • Dill Pickle Chip (for garnish)

Instructions:

  • Scoop one large scoop of Baskin-Robbins Gold Medal Ribbon Ice Cream into a bowl.
  • Combine 1 tablespoon of small diced kosher pickles with 1 tablespoon of hot honey; add to top of scoop.
  • Garnish with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon and a dill pickle chip. Enjoy!

 

Baskin-Robbins Pickle Split

Based on a traditional Banana Split recipe, we replaced the banana with a pickle, combined it with scoops of Vanilla, Chocolate and Pralines ‘n Cream, added marshmallow topping, chocolate sauce and Caramel along with some diced pickles and dill seasoning and topped it off with whipped cream and dill pickles slices dipped in chocolate coating.

Ingredients (makes one pickle split):

  • 1 prepacked quart of Baskin-Robbins Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 1 prepacked quart of Baskin-Robbins Chocolate Ice Cream
  • 1 prepacked quart of Baskin-Robbins Pralines ‘n Cream Ice Cream
  • ¼ Cup Marshmallow topping
  • 1 tbsp Chocolate sauce
  • 1 tbsp Caramel sauce
  • 1 Large kosher dill pickle (at least 5” in length)
  • 1 tbsp Kosher dill pickles, small diced/brunoise
  • Dill seasoning
  • Whipped cream
  • Kosher pickle slices
  • Chocolate coating/magic shell
  • *Prep Beforehand:
    • Dill pickle marshmallow topping: Mix ¼ cup marshmallow topping with ½ tablespoon dill pickle juice; mix to combine.
    • Chocolate dipped pickle slices: Select three kosher dill pickle slices, lightly dry off and set aside. Melt chocolate coating or magic shell; dip each pickle slice halfway into the coating. Place slices in refrigerator for 15 minutes to set.

Instructions:

  • Slice your large kosher dill pickle in half, lengthwise.
  • Place one scoop of each Baskin-Robbins Vanilla ice cream, Chocolate ice cream and Pralines ‘n Cream ice cream into a bowl or banana split dish.
  • Set each half of your large dill pickle on either side of your scoops.
  • To the Vanilla scoop, add 1-2 tablespoons of chocolate sauce and sprinkle with dill seasoning.
  • To the Chocolate scoop, add 1-2 tablespoons of dill pickle marshmallow topping.
  • For the Pralines ‘n Cream scoop, combine 1 tablespoon of caramel sauce with 1 tablespoon of small diced kosher pickles and add to scoop*.
  • Garnish each scoop with whipped cream, a sprinkle of dill and a chocolate coated pickle slice and dig in!
